Second weekend of working on the deck.  Had Dad and Steve here helping out so a massive thank you for getting this done and for the free labour! Always appreciated.  Total time of demolishing deck - 2 days over 2 weekends, approx 9 hours. Cost - $0

Was easier sawing the deck in bits rather than trying to salvage the boards. Going to use Merbau for the new deck, not treated pine

Demolished deck! this is where the 2 new bedrooms will go.  There will be a hallway where that window and door is. The door is access to our garage. The door will be replaced by a newer one and is staying so we have internal access to the Garage.
